Here is a vintage Smiths Everest made from solid 9ct Gold. 
 
The Smiths Everest is a famous watch, initially supplied to Sir Edmund Hilary on the first ever successful accent of Everest. 
 
This particular watch dates from the 1960's. It has a 9ct gold case which measures 31mm in diameter excluding the crown. For its age, the case is in very nice condition. 
 
The dial has an overall patina which certainly adds to its vintage charm.
 
The hand wound movement, as with smiths watches of this era is stunning. It is working well and keeping good time for a vintage watch. 
 
The watch has been fitted with a brand new leather strap as well as a new crystal. It also comes in a period Smiths box.
