This is a fantastic example of a solid gold TUDOR watch.

Tudor were at one time produced by the world famous ROLEX watch company, and are to this day still a top watch brand in their own right. Over the years they have become increasingly collectable.

This particular watch is a Prince Date model with an automatic movement. The solid 9ct gold case measures 34mm in diameter excluding the crown. A very wearable size, especially compared to some of the earlier Tudors which had smaller cases. For its age, the case is in nice condition, it does show some signs of use as you would expect, but benefits greatly from having no personalised engraving to the rear. On the inside of the case back, it is stamped with the Tudor logo.

For me, the most striking part of this watch is the gold coloured dial, which is set with gold batons and the Tudor Shield logo. The date alternated in colour between red and black. The only dowmside to this dial, which in my opinion, given its age, is minor, is that there are a couple of marks between the 11 and 12 o'clock markers, and a little bit around the central point (see last pic for exaggerated detail). This is, I'm sure you'd agree, one of the nicest dial and case combinations on a vintage Tudor.

The Automatic Tudor movement is running well and keeping good time for a vintage watch.

It comes with a brand new leather strap with a genuine Rolex buckle. It has been fitted with a new crystal, and comes in a vintage Rolex box.

Other strap options may be available (colour/Style). Please enquire if interested.
