This is an incredible watch from the WWI era.

This watch has an exquisite case, made from solid silver. It measures a whopping 35.7mm in diameter, excluding the large onion style crown. This watch is much larger than most other trench watches making it much more wearable in relation to modern sizes. The case, for its age is in very good condition. There are some signs of wear etch, however the hallmarks date it to 1914! The front and back of the case screw down, rather than the more simple pop back or hinged cases.

The porcelain dial is in superb condition for its age with only the lightest signs of wear, namely a small hairline crack by the 11 position. Something that is not very noticeable. Certainly well above average condition for its age.

The movement has been serviced by J.H.Oxtoby in August of this year. To wind the watch, the crown needs to be pushed in from its resting position, and interesting function.

The watch has been fitted with a new perspex crystal and has a brand new, hand made Goat skin military strap. This is the softest strap I have ever purchased. On the back of this I have had a number of custom straps made from this leather! It will also come in a hand made cork travel pouch.

This really is a collectors watch, ready to wear and enjoy!
